JAA is pleased to announce new leadership and additional members joining our Board of Directors.
Lou Plung (pictured here) takes the helm as Chair of JAA’s Board, after previously chairing the boards of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh and local chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Mr. Plung has also held committee chair positions with the national Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, Jewish Healthcare Foundation, Shadyside Academy, and was a member of the UPMC board. Mr. Plung is Managing Partner of the accounting firm Louis Plung & Company.
Glen Feinberg has much nonprofit experience as he currently serves on the Executive Committee of Family House, an organization that he also chaired. Mr. Feinberg is retired after having spent most of his career at Deloitte including an appointment as Partner for Deloitte Consulting.
Hal Waldman also joins our board and brings his extensive experience as Chair of the Pittsburgh Dance Council and previous Chair of the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater and the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh. Mr. Waldman is well-versed in the healthcare industry with a background in senior housing, nursing homes, personal and memory care, hospice, and the manufacturing of medical devices.
Having engaged and committed board members such as these helps steer the course for JAA and we thank them for helping to advance our mission.
