Members of Anathan Club Adult Day Services have been busy growing their own aeromatherapy herb garden. With the herbs in full bloom, members explore different soothing scents like lavender, lemon balm, and sage. When working with people living with dementia, it is important to engage as many senses as possible. This kind of therapy, sharing the calming effects of herbal fragrances, has proven to be beneficial. And it’s always fun for everyone to dig in the dirt! Thank you to Rabbi Seidman for providing the “seed” money for the garden.
